Getting Started
When you get in touch with us with an enquiry about having your own bespoke garden designed and built by our team of experts, three important things need to happen before we can start working on the design.
Seeing The Space
When we meet with you to discuss your plans, we’ll need to see your existing garden so that we can understand the space we have to work with. We need to understand what kind of soil you have, how changes to your garden may impact neighbouring properties, what you want to keep, what you want to lose and, of course, how big it is.
Understanding What You Want From Your New Garden
Probably the most important part of the process is the conversation we have with you about what you want from your new garden. We’ll want to know about you and your family, how you currently use your garden and how you’d like to be able to use it in a perfect world. We’ll ask you about the look you want, the plants and/or veg you’ll want to grow, and how much time you’ll want to spend looking after it.

Knowing Your Budget
It doesn’t matter what your dreams are if you don’t have the budget to match – although you’d be surprised what we can achieve even when working with limited resources. On the other hand, your budget might mean you can get even more than you thought. We aim to be clear from the outset about what your garden makeover will cost without any hidden extras. Of course, any project can be subject to unknowns that might require extra work, but we’ll make sure we keep you informed every step of the way, and won’t do anything that will cost more than your initial quote unless we get your approval beforehand.
Your Garden Design
Once all the above has happened, we’ll go away and work on your design. Using the latest design tools, we’ll be able to give you an incredibly accurate idea of what your finished garden will look like.
We’ll take into account everything from lighting, storage and planting to where you’ll be able to eat, socialise or just enjoy the view. We’ll also take the time to explain what kind of regular maintenance will be needed to keep the look so that you’re happy that you’ll be able to manage it once we’re finished.
You’ll still be able to make any changes at this point, so don’t be afraid to speak up if there’s something that’s not quite right, or if you’re worried that looking after it might be more work than you can or want to manage.
It’s important to us that you’re not just happy with the design and build of your new garden, but that you continue to be happy with it for years to come – so getting it right at this stage is essential.
And once you’ve signed off on the design and you’re happy with the price we’ve quoted, all we need to do then is the actual work!
